The work
Models from the bench
From custom enclosures and board-mounting systems to mechanical assemblies, precision brackets, threaded components, and production fixtures, each project demonstrates a practical approach to design, functionality, and manufacturability.
01
Assembly
Indicator enclosure assembly
A two-part enclosure built around its electronics: microcontroller, display, rotary encoder, three RGB indicators, and a buzzer, with a sensor arm mounted below. Bosses, cutouts, and threaded features are placed to the actual components.
02
Fixture assembly
PCB test fixture
A lid stack for board-level testing: a shroud plate with locating pins, an adapter that seats on the board, and a nozzle with tubing routed off to the side. Each part is designed to register against the others.
03
Enclosure
Board housing
A shallow shell sized to a specific circuit board, with standoffs, rails, and connector openings placed where the board needs them.
04
Brackets + mounts
Brackets and mounts
Sensor brackets, pipe holders, and arm mounts, each sized to the hardware it carries and the fasteners that hold it, with fillets and chamfers where the part takes load.
05
Turned-style part
Threaded cover ring
A threaded retaining ring with real modeled thread geometry, not a cosmetic texture, so the printed part actually engages its mating thread.
06
Fixture
PCB rack
A three-piece slotted rack that holds parts upright and separated, split into sections so each piece fits the print bed and the assembly can be extended.
07
Mechanism
PCB vice
A low-profile vice body for holding boards during work, with slotted feet for clamping it to a bench.
08
Tooling
Multi-size wrenches
Flat wrenches with labeled openings for common nut sizes, developed from a printed version into a round stainless sheet-metal version.
